WHAT ARE "COOKIES"?
Cookies are small text files that websites you visit store on your computer. During future visits to these websites, these files allow you to use the same default settings as in your previous visit.
Temporary cookies are deleted immediately after closing the web browser window. These files primarily ensure and identify the connection between your computer and the visited website during a single visit.
Persistent cookies remain stored on your computer even after closing the browser window. Only the server that created them can read these cookies. They are used, for example, for login identification (to stay logged in), for recognizing the preset language chosen during a previous visit, for displaying prices in the currency selected in a prior visit, for personalizing ads, tracking user activity on websites, or pre-filling forms.
Your name or email address may only be contained in cookies if you have previously provided this information to the relevant website!
Most browsers are preset to accept cookies automatically. If you do not wish for any information to be collected about you, you can disable cookie acceptance in your browser. If you don’t want a specific website to store cookies on your device, we recommend visiting it in your browser's “incognito mode” (Incognito, InPrivate, Private Window…). The browser supports cookies in this mode, but all created cookies are deleted as soon as you close it.
You can also control or delete previously created cookies at your discretion.
In your browser, you can disable automatic cookie acceptance. Instructions for disabling cookie storage can be found in the help section of your browser settings.
Changing your cookie settings may impact the functionality and smooth loading of visited websites. In such cases, you may need to manually adjust some settings with each visit, and certain services or functions may not work correctly.
